The two-year Tulane Fellowship in Infant, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry trains general psychiatrists in the relevant clinical knowledge and skills to better care for children and their families.
This training program provides the trainee with education in development and developmental psychopathology as well as other disciplines as the foundation for lifelong learning, and the frontiers of teaching, clinical care, advocacy, administration, public policy, cultural competence, research, and systems of care design.
The Tulane University School of Medicine affiliated Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Training Program is sponsored by the following clinical sites:

- TUHC Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Tulane/Lakeside Women & Children’s Hospital

Each program allows you consultative, direct service roles, and a growing focus on psychological aspects of the medically ill child.

We have a large policy and advocacy group which is actively involved with legislation.

There are Weekly Grand Rounds in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and didactics on all aspects of child and adolescent psychiatry.
